  1. Thank you very much for making available this valuable material. I have a question regarding the section: how to process the palsar jaxa mosaic. In step 2 you show how to create a virtual raster in QGIS; but in step 3, importing to NEST, you seem to use a different format. Could you provide guidance on how to import the stack virtual raster from QGIS to NEST? or how can you perform the stack directly in NEST?

    thank you for your help,

    Andres

    1. Dear Andres,
Thank you for your comment. Indeed, there was one step missing in the “How to process Palsar Jaxa Mosaic” tutorial.
You can now find an updated tutorial, explaining how to export the stack virtual raster from QGIS to NEST ( https://reddguianashield.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/08-pw-howtoprocessjaxapalsarmosaic1.pdf).
You can also use the new tutorial we developped to process Alos data, using the updated version of Nest, called Sentinel 1 Toolbox (https://reddguianashield.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/04-pw-alosprocessing.pdf).
All the tutorial we used to process Radar imagery are available on this page : https://reddguianashield.com/trainings/sar-technical-training-for-forest-mapping/tutorial/

I hope this answers your question. Don’t hesitate to contact us for further information.

      Very best regards,
      REDD+ Guiana Shield Team
